New: VT BIPOC Mental Health & Wellness Database & listserv

Learn more & contribute to this new digital community resource, led by Natasha V. Chang, MS, NCC: “To better serve BIPOC clients in our state, and to better support BIPOC providers themselves, please note the following initiative, currently in formation: bit.ly/VTBIPOCMentalHealthandWellness

1. A VT Mental Health and Wellness Practitioners of Color Directory which is publicly available and designed to facilitate referrals. We invite participation from those working not only in the field of Mental Health but also those providing complimentary or alternative wellness therapies (such as, but not limited to, acupuncture, massage, yoga, and naturopathic medicine).

2. A listserv for BIPOC-identified VT mental health practitioners which will provide a supportive forum for the discussion of current issues that affect BIPOC practitioners, as well as the exchange of knowledge, information, and advocacy initiatives relevant to the BIPOC community in VT (email nvchang AT gmail.com to join).
